Accountor divests its stake in Eduhouse, which will join forces with Wistec Training and continue its growth with private equity Verdane’s support

The demand for e-learning has grown rapidly in recent years and the corona pandemic has further accelerated it. Accountor divests its stake in the online training company Accountor Eduhouse and will continue to develop software and services for financial administration, payroll and human resources as its core business.

Two strong e-learning service providers in Finland will join forces to become a leading Nordic player, as financial, payroll, and human resources training services provider Accountor Eduhouse aims for strong growth together with ICT training company Wistec Training.

The co-operation is supported by a Nordic private equity company Verdane, which accelerates the companies' growth in Finland and internationally. Accountor has as of June 1st sold its ownership in Accountor Eduhouse Oy to Verdane. Accountor Eduhouse will in the future be known as Eduhouse.

“I believe that this transaction will enable Eduhouse to grow even more strongly and strengthen its foothold in the Nordic countries. We at Accountor have been very pleased with the good performance of Eduhouse and we want to thank the entire team for their contribution. Accountor will remain as Eduhouse’s important customer and commercial partner,” says Mikko Siivola, Executive Vice President of Accountor’s HR business.

Eduhouse and Wistec Training serve together the training needs of more than 1500 corporate customers with the best learning content in financial management, payroll, human resources and IT in Finland, Sweden and Norway. Together, the companies will further develop their services and content portfolio and aim for growth in the Nordic countries and beyond.

“The online learning demand growth has been very rapid in recent years. Together with Wistec Training, we can offer the world's best learning content for companies in a very wide range, and Verdane's expertise and support will drive us to even stronger growth”, says Jukka Vento, Eduhouse’s Managing Director.
