General provisions

This Privacy Notice (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice") informs about how Accountor collects, uses or exchanges your personal data in connection with the provision of the Service ("Service") and/or use of the https website ://www.accountor.com/ , i.e. when you: visit the website, or interact with us through the website, incl. download materials, subscribe to our newsletters, take part in our promotional campaigns or leave us feedback. Please read this privacy notice along with the Accountor General Statement before visiting our website.

Collection of personal data

The collection of personal data is carried out in various ways. We generally process personal data that

  • You have provided  when interacting or cooperating with us, such as purchasing or registering for our Service, subscribing to our newsletter, or requesting offers or information;
  • Were obtained when you use our Service  or visit our website, or when browsing, downloading materials or searching for information, for example, when you connect to the Service; and
  • Were obtained from other sources , where permitted by applicable law, such as the Finnish Registry Office, the company information system or post office logs.

We may combine data collected about you from public sources with data about your interaction with our site, newsletters and materials.

You are not required to provide us with your personal data, but if you choose not to, it is possible that we may not be able to provide you with our Service.

Categories of personal data

The personal data we collect includes, for example, the following categories of data:

  • basic information , such as full name, position and relation to the company you represent, contact details (email, address and telephone), as well as preferred languages;
  • marketing information, such as information about interests and preferences, choices, consent / disagreement with receiving marketing information;
  • information obtained as a result of surveys and comments to them;
  • information relating to work with customers , such as information on the Service and order, payment details, payment information, permissions and prohibitions on the sale;
  • interaction with clients , contacts with clients and their communications, as well as records of the exercise of the rights of individuals;
  • personal data obtained in connection with the use of our Service  or visits to our site through cookies or otherwise obtained, such as user identification number, passwords, authentication data, timestamps and event log data about the use of the Service, data obtained through cookies files or similar technologies through the websites (device identification number and type, operating system and application settings); and

We may collect and use for any purpose aggregated data in which it is impossible to identify those who are included in the sample. An example of such data would be site visit statistics, as well as information about the demographics of our site visitors.

Purpose and legal basis for the processing of personal data

You can ask Accountor to stop sending you marketing communications by clicking on the relevant link in the email or by contacting us at privacy @ accountor . com .In this case, we will keep a minimum amount of your personal data so that we do not send you new messages.

Please note that even if you choose to opt-out of direct marketing communications, we may need to contact you regarding other purposes for processing your personal data.

7. Storage of personal data

Your personal data will be kept for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes defined in this Regulation.

Most of your personal data will be kept for the duration of your customer relationship with Accountor. Some personal data may be retained after the end of your customer relationship with us, if required by applicable law. For example, at the end of a relationship, we generally retain personal data necessary to respond to inquiries or claims under applicable statute of limitations. We may also retain your data to the extent necessary to comply with your request not to receive direct marketing from us.

If your personal information is no longer required by law or the rights or obligations of either party, we will delete it.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data that we process. You can access, correct, update, change or request deletion of your personal information at any time. However, it should be noted that some of the information is essential for the purposes of this Notice and may also be required by law. Such information cannot be deleted.

You have the right to object to specific processing. In cases provided for by the current legislation on the protection of personal data, you have the right to restrict the processing of data.

You have the right to data portability, i.e. the right to receive personal data in an orderly, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transfer the relevant data to another data controller in cases provided for by applicable law.

If our processing of your personal data is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. We will no longer process your data for the purposes to which you have given your consent, unless there is another legal basis for the processing.

9. Security

We maintain security measures (including physical, electronic and administrative measures) appropriate to protect personal data from loss, destruction, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure. For example, we restrict access to personal data to authorized employees and service providers who need information to perform their job duties.

Please note that while we strive to maintain adequate security measures for personal data, no single security system can prevent all potential threats. In the event of a security breach, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

10. Changes to this provision
