Accountor participates in CyberCivicDuty campaign to improve online security level for everyone

In an increasingly digitalised society, information security and data protection are at the core of our business. The financial and personal data processed in our services and software require confidentiality and their responsible processing. Preventing and defending against cyber security attacks has indeed become an integral part of our daily operations.

"We can’t think that the government or companies can fend off cyber threats alone. Our society needs us all to know this stuff. That's why we have challenged all Accountorians to participate in the CyberCivicDuty campaign. At the same time, as we learn better and better digital security skills, we protect all of us online more effectively, both at work and in our free time," says Accountor's Chief Information Security Officer Mikko Sauranen.

During the campaign, Accountorians can choose suitable CyberCivicDuties and with them guide people we care about and anyone who needs support to stay safe online. At the same time, they receive further information security and data protection training along their daily work.

Our goal is to improve the security level of all of us online. With CyberCivicDuties, we also strengthen our society by ensuring that each of us has sufficient digital security skills.

Producing secure services and software for our customers is of primary importance to us. You can find more detailed information on how we implement and develop information security and data protection methods, e.g. in our Sustainability report.
