Being an accountant is really the perfect profession to start with as a newly graduated economist.
As a newly graduated business economist in the summer of 2018, I had the world ahead of me, says Andreas Gunnestad. With this education, I had the opportunity to apply for jobs in most of the fields of finance and administration, and at the same time be strong. A little by chance I was called by a headhunter on behalf of Accountor who thought I would fit perfectly as an accountant.
Accounting was not the first thing I had imagined to work with, but after several conversations with this head hunter, I was convinced.
Being an accountant is really the perfect profession to start with as a newly qualified economist. Being really good at accounting, while working closely with clients, has given me a solid learning curve after completing my studies. Accountor has given me very good career opportunities, where after one year I have been able to climb internally by becoming a customer manager. They have a very solid organization, with support agencies that work and assist when needed. Training and continuing education are a matter, of course, to ensure that employees have all the tools they need. Not least is the focus on good communication, which gives a very pleasant and good atmosphere in the office.
